It's a joke how they can out sprint me...backwards! Looking like football players. A little "realism" would be nice.
On that note, why are we switching weapons so fast? Are they in our *****-packs? I guess this is not as big of a problem as back-peddling |

backpack technology is exclusive to the Amarrians. None of the other empires has been able to replicate it as of yet. |

This is in the same vein: I was chasing a guy and was getting really close, but here's the catch, each time I would try to swing with the knives, he would get 2 steps ahead. Why? Because right now we can't charge and sprint. I was seeing how bull it is, so I kept chasing the guy and the same thing would happen for about 4 times.

This is probably one of the most gamebreaking things when it comes to any melee. It makes no sense. I understand future technology and all that, but seriously, the character movement in this game is laughable.
Why can people move backwards so fast in comparison to being able to move forward? "Because future technology and muscle enhancements."
If we have all these enhancements, why can I only sprint for 18 seconds as a scout? I can sprint longer than that in real life. "Because your equipment is so heavy."
But what about the muscle enhancements? Also, what if I am not carrying as much - like if I'm carrying just knives and fewer modules? "(nonsensical politician answer that doesn't directly address the question)" |

The human body moves forward easier than it does backward. Even if we had technology to change our bodies to move backward fluidly, it seems like we would have the technology to make ourselves move forward even easier which would move us forward faster than backward.So then, if we have all these enhancements, why can I only sprint for 18 seconds as a scout? You can sprint like 10m per second for 18 sec+? Dude that is Bolt fast, I think he runs the 200m in like 20 odd secs.
You want to sprint longer? Use Cardiac Regulators.
To the OP, you walk as fast backwards as forwards, really hard to sprint seeing as you cannot you shoot while sprinting.
But I do share the sentiment, it should be like 75% the speed
