CCP, I'm a very patient and regular guy when it comes to my games, even since the time (closed BETA). I have seen small hotfixes to massive overhauls on the game and yet for some reason you finally managed to upset me to this extent on where the direction of this game is going. I pick one suit and one suit only that match my play style: The Scout and Shotgun build. I know you will be addressing issues with the Scout suit so I will not be addressing any issues with that, but where my real problem lies is that of my Shotgun.
What the hell happened to it? The Shotgun was near perfect where it was at in CHROMOSOME (minus the range on it) and now it is completely useless. I have been using the scout/shotgun build since closed beta and just wow...it is not even effective even at this supposed "optimal range". Here's a list of things I see wrong with the Shotguns:
1.) When I shoot enemies directly (5-10-15) feet away it does absolutely nothing sometimes when I (ADS).
2.) Strafe speed is now even with everyone else's? What?!
3.) The reload for shotguns is STILL the same even if you upgrade it all the way. (Tested on alt)
4.) Maxing out proficiency level in Shotguns still doesn't even work (tested this on alt).
5.) Skills still don't work in general mind you.
6.) Hip-fire still is a struggle with hit detection, from close/far away. (5-10) / (15-20) feet away
7.) Auto aim still does not even register well when enemies are near in the heat of battle.
I'm sorry CCP, but what the hell? I wish you can collect all the top Shotgun users, sit down with them and talk about what they like/dislike about them in a non-biased view. And I will be honest about what is fair and unfair if you were to ask. CCP please address this or you will potentially lose not only me as a customer but possibly other dedicated shotgun users as well. Thanks again.

That's what I'm saying, I run that as my full time suit and with my alt I max everything in the shotgun to see how the stats/ skills are once I max them out. And this builds shotgun...is pitiful. |

This needs to be addressed hit detection for any other weapon then AR is atrocious.

I am not asking for a buff or a nerf, just fix the damn weapon. Its unfair when people just casually walk by a full blast TO THE FACE or IN THE BACK, then I just get blown away. This needs to be addressed. |

There you have it CCP, please address. If you want to meet up with some Shotgunners then look at the Scout Leaderboard Thread, Scouts United Group or just ask some of the guys 1 on 1. |

Sir, what in the hell are you smoking? The only time this is applicable would be if it WAS a head shot or a point blank shot 1-2 feet away. And even then this game barely registers it so sometimes it takes two hits and you probably don't notice the second shot. |

Hey everyone is nagging about flaylock that takes 3 shots to kill someone, and a 1 shot shotty cant be nagged about? Thats WACK dude.
You do realize the Shotgun is a hybrid weapon (eats through shield and armor) and EACH pellet is 37-42 damage, right? Then if you are skilled enough or what people call in my case as "lucky shots/headshots" then it's a point blank shot that YOU clearly didn't dodge. Thus rendering you blown away. |
