Waitso after all those assurances that capping out wouldn't break anything and, after it did, it turns out we'll miss out on 6x sp

for the most part it's just bonus sp all around for everyone...except those that can't play after thursday.

Here is my question; would you rather CCP waste it's time and money figuring out exactly how much sp you were suppose to get, or would you rather them do this quick fix and spend their time and money on adding new stuff to this game.

On Thursday, July 4th we deployed the Triple Skill Point event to Tranquility. After the deployment we discovered the script that was supposed to increase your Skill Point cap was not working as intended, increasing only the amount of skill points remaining to the original, 190.400 cap. This made players that already capped their skill points by playing from Wednesday to Thursday receive no skill point cap increase after the downtime on Thursday.

Because of this error, we will be deploying a new Triple SP script today (5th of July), to reset everyoneGÇÖs weekly Skill Point cap and increase it to its intended triple value GÇô 571.200 for the duration of this event.

DUST 514 will go offline for an extended period of time today and is expected to come back online at 12:00 GMT.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused on the first day of the event, and we hope that you will enjoy the remainder of this event.

I'd rather CCP starts doing things right the first time and stop screwing up some players compared to others.

yep this is ideal, but quick conflict resoloution is often times required when mistakes inevitably do happen.

Then they should make sure the Quick Fix helps everyone, not the lucky few

What is the point of having a means to communicate with the staff if assurances like that are worth nothing? It is their responsibility to make sure their special events go well... and to make matters worse they further disadvantage people who didn't have the experience to just disregard what they said in expectation of yet another catastrophe, all for a speedy resolution of this. This is so ridiculous. All these failures and band-aid solutions...

we're all lucky we are getting more sp then expected.

I just don't care if some players played their asses off and get more, that's the idea I guess. playing the game results in rewards.

You're still getting more than the 3x you could have potentially recieved if there was no issues.

Honestly.. why ***** about it? We're all getting more SP this week than we would have normally from this event.

there is obvious cause to be irritated over some people getting over 1 million sp all as some kind of solution to a problem that did not effect them. That is weeks of playtime man..

Yeah but you are getting more than the 900k you could have got this week. Should you not be happy about that?

Yeah you can cry "waaah not fair he got a cooler toy than me!" all you want, but you can't deny you are getting more SP this week then you normally would.

Don't worry about other people, there will always be people with more SP than you.

What would you rather they have done? Left it like it was?
