People can't help but use that OP weapon to get them kills.

Personally i hate all OP weapons e.g. forge, flaylock...

And some people just love following trends, you know them ones because they have it out 24/7 trying to shoot you across map or when they spawn they switch to the flatlock they make me lol

Considering that for a good solid couple of build cycles the game has been AR514. I actually happy that people are not sticking with them.

can be but not many are. takes skill to be accurate with the assault rifle vs another great player. Godlock pistols are every scrubs wet dream, and ez mode of choice for vets going pc. OH spams them, let's just be honest, Blizz the lion or w/e, Kohmplex, radar, like half their team including raeselia (as a logi lol) I have recorded using them. Kohmplex could beat me 1v1 with the ar, but he'd rather make me resort to fused and remotes these days cause i refuse to use the damn noob tube weapon. Honestly I'm dissapointed so many like radar have switched. I doubt it'll be like when they nerfed zerging in starcraft, but they will have to adjust strategies once they fix it. However, if broadway runs caldari flavor of the month I lol at his hypocrisy. Anyone who uses anything but a caldari logi I have massive respect for you. that was the original flavor of the month in uprising.

And what makes the AR more "valid" to use than a flaylock? Because it doesnt shoot explosive rounds? Its as valid as any other weapon, using the AR/HMG as the sole measuring stick for good or bad players or gunfights its your problem, not the game's.

Anyone can be good with the AR.

Tell me OP, why do you use the AR in the first place? Because you want a challenge? No, because if that were the case you'd try to make the Plasma Cannon or Lasers work. No, you use it because it is the best gun for killing the enemy in the majority of situations.

Now the Flaylock (for the moment) is better at killing at certain situations (extreme close range combat). So they are using it for the exact same reason you use the AR, because they want to kill the enemy as quickly and efficiently as possible. Can you really fault them for that?

So please get off your high horse. You're not gimping yourself by using the AR over the flaylock, the AR is still the best gun in the game.

No, I'm not saying that at all. The Flaylock is pretty broken at the moment, and will most likely get a deserved nerf.

I just think it's silly to complain about the Flaylock as an AR user when the AR has long been the most dominant gun in the game. AR peeps use them because they are really good, exact same reason people use Flaylocks.

And I'm willing to bet that back when they too were 'broken', Broadway used a Duvolle Tac. But I don't fault him for it. If you're trying to win the game, why not use the best guns?

Glad to say Teamplayers doesn't exploit them. I notice alot of LoI though.... well not sure anymore now that OH is gone but I have seen HS use them dual style.. Even a member in this thread talking about using them. In Regnyum's defense he is working on it. Meaning doesn't use them yet. You do have to fight fire with fire though. Taking on corps that all have FP is not fun believe me it's overly challenging and frustrating.

Here's an idea: get good and stop dying to a sidearm with a 3 round mag?
Flaylocks rarely killed me in PC matches because they're extremely easy to counter.
