I hope CCP has a way to track SP gained based on war points and in game battle time and just takes the "hard earned SP" from AFKers (just their AFK match SP) as punishment. Their endless tears and threats of quitting would be so sweet. |

I bet people would threaten to quit if they loss millions of SP gained from AFKing unfortunately I doubt CCP will do anything to punish them, they will just implement something to stop AFKing that will inevitably make something else worse because they never consider unintended consequences or try to implement counterplay. |

why would they do that? atm CCP fully supports afking. putting in 5 SP/s while in match and not changing it after months of QQ threads is CCP saying "it may have been unintended but we're not against it!" |

AFK is a viable tactic in new eden. Get used to it, even if they ruin overall gameplay, as that is not a concern at this time. |

Is afk really that bad. I play around 20 match a day with all the type of battle every now then I may get 1 or 2 afk in match. You guy make seem you join full match but 10 people afk and 6 don't |

During the start of the event, if you played skirmish or any other game mode with a safe redline area to afk, you'll see anywhere from 4-6 afks in consecutive games.
When I made this thread, it was just after I went through 4 straight games where half of my team afk'ed during a skirmish.
This game doesnt punish afkers, and therefore, they will continue to do so.
Also old thread is old, let it die. |

There's still plenty around, but you're right in that a lot have moved on. No sense in leveling your character in game that's not fun to play. AFK leveling or not. |

Well, maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't bumped into one in weeks, and I haven't heard any complaining about it (in-game of course, these forums are a wasteland) in about the same amount of time. |
