Denak enters the emissary as things in his own emissary seemed quiet, still wearing his formal attire. Having heard of the events preceding his arrival into the PIE emissary, he carried a small combat knife on his waist under his shirt, made of regular steel and having no special carvings or markings on the blade or the hilt, for personal protection. Quietly entering the lobby, he looks around to see if anyone else was present, and hopefully introduce himself and make his precense known in the summit. |

Denak looks at the fully armored templar peering him over motionlessly, keeping a cool expression on his face. "Tell the emissary that the Intaki emissary has been set up and is open for visitors." he simply notes to him, nodding briefly before taking his leave back outside. |

((He's ignoring you because you are blatantly ignoring the way this emissary actually works, it's a physical place where you interact with others. You just giving a death threat with no actual physical actions just makes you look dumb. I'm really saddened by the quality of the Gallente roleplayers here, all of them are just blatant fanatics and a certain someone is blatantly breaching the canon. At least the Amarr can write correctly and argue properly for their beliefs.

Denak enters the PIE Emissary soon after Kador and Satja greeting the man behind the desk in the lobby with a bow.
"Namas, is Kador and his companion here?" He asks politely, dressed in his usual ceremonial outfit, brown in color and the chest and shoulder area covered in golden ornaments. |

Denak continues waiting in the lobby of the emissary when he was told that Kador was busy, and overhearing the conversation he had. He sat down on a chair in the lobby, focusing on his own thoughts and trying his best not to eavesdrop on Maikyl's and Kador's conversation. |

Denak frowns when he noticed Kador turning to leave, looking slightly puzzled when he was still waiting here. He was just intending to leave the emissary and try reaching Kador at a more convenient time, before Maikyl came to him.
Maikyl Metsar wrote:*Metsar approaches Denak, who is sitting down near the emissary entrance.*
"Ashaltiasten, Mr. Kalamari, and welcome. I apologize for the wait. What brings you by?" "Namas Maikyl, I am here for an audience with Mr. Ouryon. We have some, unfinished discussions. I seem to have come here at a bad time." He greets and replies to the templar, swiftly standing up to give him a respectful bow. |

Maikyl Metsar wrote:*Maikyl returns the bow.*
"Very well then, you may speak with him whenever he's ready. He still hasn't washed or changed since this ordeal at that Gallentean club. Hopefully it won't be too long. You may wait in the lounge if you'd like. I was about to break fast and I could have Torsuul bring you a plate as well if you're hungry? Of course I understand if you're busy and would like to come back." "I understand, being presentable is a crucial part of representing an emissary. And I haven't eaten much today, some food would be quite nice." he replies with a bow of his head, following Maikyl wherever he would lead him. "I'm not too picky about the type of food, it's interesting to experiment new cuisine." |

As he takes a seat by the table and looks at the food presented to him, he nods in approval as it looks quite appetizing. As Maikyl started praying, he soon closed his eyes and leaned his head down a bit out of courtesy, before going forth with eating the meal he was given. He starts off with the bread, breaking off a piece of it and starting to eat it quietly, simply nodding in approval to show his liking for the food.
He remained quiet throughout the entire meal, not wanting to bother the praetorian any more than he has already, simply checking the front door every once in a while to see if Kador would enter. |

Denak bows his head to Kador and gestures him to sit where he liked as he re-entered the emissary. "Namas, you're most welcome, repaying is not needed." He replies as he finishes the meal set in front of him, wiping his mouth to a napkin and pushing the plate away from him a bit. "Thank you for the meal Mr. Metsar, it was quite fulfilling." He thanks, bowing his head yet again while remaining seated at the table. |

True Adamance wrote:"Well then Denak, I suppose its time we get back to where we were." He says, turns to Metsar, giving him a strange defeated look. Denak nods simply, resting his arms crossed on top of the table and eagerly waiting for what Kador was going to say
True Adamance wrote:"The paladin will already know this, or he will soon enough. But as I said earlier, Satja is indeed a mortal. In our line of work meeting immortals and mortals is common enough, though the two usually tend to separate themselves voluntarily. Since the pair of us had been out on the front lines in Devoid I guess I forgot how dangerous they can be..... it one thing to know your enemy is immortal and across the lines... its another to have one appear when you think you are safe." "You brought Satja onto a clone soldier battlefield?" was the first thing that came into Denak's mind, tilting his head in curiosity at Kador. He wasn't sure why he would ever do such a thing, and an explanation on why would certainly sate his curiosity. |

True Adamance wrote:"I...." The Templar hesitates, as if unsure what to say to justify his actions.
His head slumps defeated.
"I am loathed to part with her. She has been my servant and friend since my...turning... and one of those people who eased my doubts in the early days. I suppose ever since we dragged her out of the downed shuttle on Iesa III, badly burnt and scarred.... I feel.... responsible for her now." "That is, understandable. You don't need to justify your motives to me, I was just curious. You have a lot of faith in her, on her abilities." He assures, giving the Templar a brief, assuring smile. Downed shuttle, that's what the scars are for, he thought, it did make a lot more sense.
True Adamance wrote:"In anycase, I found it.... disturbing to have left Satja on her own in combat. She has never seen the front lines of the Crusade, nor been allowed access to certain holy regions of our planets... but for the most part she has been close. A difficult life for a mortal...."
He smiled, as if some thought has given him great joy.
"I swear" you could hear the pride in his voice, it was a nostalgic and warm tone.
"She could have been a Kamiera that one. A better fighter that I was mortal... though I suppose not so learned. Either way she is important to me, like an anchor that keeps me in the present...." "I am glad you have someone to trust on, it is important." He noted, glancing down at his plate, and his hands. He didn't have anyone to rely on, he only had himself for the good part of his entire life. Maybe that was for the better, less heartache for him.
Ture Adamance wrote:"Being an immortal soldier, even in the service of the Lord is difficult sometimes...damnation is not an easy prospect to face..... but one worth facing for my people. Surely Denak there must be things that you do that don't often make proper sense, I know this does not justify me risking her...but I.... I am kind of hoping you know how I feel on this." "Again, it is, understandable, you do not have to justify your reasons for me. I can not say that I am a Templar, or have experience from it, but I do know what you're trying to say." He replies in his calm demeanor, looking up into the Templar's eyes again. |

True Adamance wrote:He turned back to the Intaki, meeting his gaze.
"You think I am foolish?" Denak tilted his head at the question, trying to figure out his meaning behknd the question from his gaze. Did his question offend Kador? Was he simply asking a question? In any case, he replied with another question: "Why would I?" |

True Adamance wrote:'I suppose that it seems odd for an immortal to place such... dependence on a mortal...My mind would say its folly but for the warning in my heart that tells me otherwise..."
He shrugged again.
"Many people have told me I am foolish over the years.... old friends, officers, and enemies...I suppose I have heard that all my life." Denak simply nods to Kador, nodding to the servant as he cleared the table of his empty dishes, before Kador's speech broke his train of thought.
True Adamance wrote:"Forgive me for prying...but I know so little about you Denak surely you must have met people like this in your time as an immortal. The people who make it bearable.... I am somewhat curious about where you come from. As a scion of the Intaki you carry yourself better than most I meet from the Federation." For a while, Denak said nothing, didn't even change his expression. He just stayed put, giving Kador a cold hard stare. After he was finished with the staring, he cleared his throat and spoke:
"I was born on Intaki, nearly a century ago, before its, troubles. I barely remember any of it. When I was reborn, three decades ago, I ran away as a 16 year old. From that point of, I've had only myself, and lived for myself. I haven't had anyone to rely on, nor did I have a need to. It's better for me that way." |

True Adamance wrote:"So now you know" says the Templar letting out a nervous laugh, it was thin, weak. "I guess you know why I am so defensive around Satja.... I suppose with good reason. But I shouldn't keep you any longer Denak, as I am sure both you and I have other business to attend. Later today you might find me in the gymnasium if you desire to talk more."
Behind him the door to the emissary open. Denak nods firmly, brushing over his suit a little while standing up. "Yes, I shouldn't hold you any longer, I appreciate your hospitality. Davadas, haacu prataya yavati, Kador." he replied, bowing deeply towards Kador and Satja right after she entered, before heading out towards the exit door.
On the way he came across Echo, gazing his numerous fashion scars to look tough, his stupid overconfident look on his face, and his clenching fist, all in one very brief glance. He barely acknowledged Echo's existence, simply walking past him and exiting the emissary without further words, except one quietly muttered to himself:
"Weko." |
