Nerf so proto thukker is better than AUR contact grenade.
I bet 1/3 of everyone voted "remove" is using flaylock or massdriver and just noticed that some other noobies throws backs grenades for real money
For two days ago i med I3ear (rank 1 in kills) on a server as opponent. We want into 1on1 situation and to be honnest, his damage was greater then mine. Guess what? I tossed a AUR nade and he got killed twice the same way.
After the game i received a "p****y" message and what i thougt would went into some bulls talk, was increasing into a good discussion.
To be honnest, if i hadnt tossed that grenade, he would have killed me which is for sure. The question in here is why? Did u self asked why people uses those grenades? Why people uses flaylock?
I could understand him easily, he has used much time to become that skilled in points, in propper drop suits and a 30 years old, with only 5,5mil SP logi guy and KD of 2,5 comes around the corner and kills him off with a grenade because he cant stand the 1on1 with the duvolle.
Then i started to think about; how do i get killed most often? 80% of my death is due to core flaylocks. Well do i get pissed of it? YES! Most likely if people with flaylock are on highger grounds (rails etc) and just keep spamming them down.
Where is the point in here?
Everyone here is talking about balance the game on one hand and on the other make it uneven by remove things again.
To me it sounds like a never ending story. Im a Logi, what should i do against flaylocks except my team is try to hunt them down? Of course, i toss grenades back.
Next: I could have tossed back a thukker (i got proto grenades) but the radius and damge is uneven to AUR. And i dont care about real money. Im 30 and got a job, so i use cheap AUR grenades quite often against flaylocks.
The real subject in here is about fairness. Was i fair to I3ear? No! But my survival instict told me to toss that f***.. grenade just to be kept alive.
If fairness was the subject and you should counter measure flaylocks, mass drivers and thukker (or AUR grenade, which one is fair and which not? Even math would not help you because its something personal in here.
To remove things is the wrong way, i would rather nerf things because of fairness reasons.
BTW: I would rather see AFK prevention and MCC snipe prevention, then remove or nerf more things ingame.
