Obviously that means AV is OP and needs to be nerfed if you can actually kill anything with it Hell I jumped into an LAV in a match earlier to drive off somewhere, got a proto swarm literally circling around me giving me more than enough time to jump out and even then the splash damage from the missiles and LAV blowing up was only just enough to take out my shields and scratch my armor |

Good tankers enjoy the entertainment that tanksurfers bring
Careful going back to the redline The stupidest most entertaining thing Ive done was lurk in the hills near the redline near constantly jumping on top of the same tank driver whenever he came out of hiding and shooting uselessly into his hull just to annoy him I like to count neutralizing a tank that way as a win for me |

That leaves out tank travel speed vs infantry travel speed, lock on delay and the after firing delay which prevents lock ons, reload, weapon switching, or throwing grenades, and you left out the shields Now its obviously possible to kill tanks with advanced swarms, Ive done it myself, but to have any real chance of doing so you need focused fire from multiple sources or you need to start out right on top of him and soften him up with an entire payload of grenades and then chase him to the ends of the earth trying not to get killed by him or hope he doesnt reach the redline before you can get a killing blow
You know a lot of tankers say "Well have you driven a tank" so I have to ask have you gotten out on foot and hunted tanks? |
