Stumbled across this article, and figured Star Wars fans might have a decent game with this kind of attitude from a developer studio.
Sometimes putting aside your principles, goals and dreams for the greater good can reap its own rewards.
And to think, EA hesitated.

Now that a studio with the most solidified back catalogue in fps is doing it, yeah!
Lest us not forget they have the best games engine, and they know how to use it. |

That isn't the same game which is being developed by DICE.
Check lower right side imprint "Free Radical" - a company which went bankrupt/disolved and was part of Rare, which originally was called Ultimate Play The Game, from the 80's and had games like Attic Attack and Sabre Wulf...yes I really am that old.
DICE have got a teaser atm, that's it. |

You'd ski a great game just because of it's publisher?
If I am I humbly stand to be corrected, but that video goes back quite a way and is also third person, not first.
I gave up trying to boycott companies years ago, not that the comment was directed at me.
Even if I spend money elsewhere, that money goes back into the economy and will end up going into someones back pocket I don't like - maybe even a drug dealer, so I kinda admit defeat on that and just look at what I get out of something rather than whats someone else doesn't.
Sorry if that offends anyone - I appreciate it's a contentious issue, and if anyone wants to boycott something, they have my support in principality not actuality. It's better than nothing. |
