the answer is no Read the thread title and assumed you already knew what the question was?
does having a bunch of turret op 5 players in your tank grant you +craptonnes of damage to your main turret?
the answer is still no
if your not working the mods/guns it dont apply to you and doesnt benifit from you
your tank doesnt magically get more shields by having multple tankers with full tanks shield/amor skills sitting in it
its the driver that determines it
if you want proof watch a vehicles shields as the main driver switches between two different people with different shield skill levels.
but notice that they dont inscrease just because both are in the vehicle
skills are only granted from the driver (outside turret skills wich are applyed to the turret the user uses. |

All 3 players are wearing pilot suits and all get into the same vehicle thus enhancing the vehicle itsself plus its adds that important factor to all scrubs who think that it should take 3players to move the thing so if all 3 players are wearing a pilot suit which makes the vehicle even better then that is classed as teamwork
What will happen then is that proper vehicle users will try and get players with pilots suits into the vehicles at all times and then on the forums start to ask AV players to use teamwork instead or soloing vehicles and maybe actually using proper AV like FG and not eazymode AV like auto aiming swarms and AV nades which require no skill
except testing shows that only the drivers skills are applyed to the vehicles modules
turrets being calculated slightly differently taking the place of the gunners dropsuit weapon as far as damage calulation and therefore turret skills are concerned |

i understand sometimes in the right situations ads s can be a tad powerfull as long as no1 has got half a brain but when you encounter a proto swarms you can get 2 shotted with a fully tanked dropship
you must not have ADS dropship skill to 4 or 5 yet
stack those resistances sir
my buddy can tank 3 proto swarms/forge shots and still come out alive |

After all alot pf players are screaming 'tanks should take teamwork' and this is a step towards doing that but now its classed as OP and shouldnt be allowed
you asked "will" the answer is no becuase isnt coded to allow it and in fact the actually recently recoded it to prevent turret damage stacking from the driver to the gunners.
so they activly built the skill to vehicle system to prevent it to happen.
so it wont stack, answers your question so why are you so mad? |

guess we'll have too petition it to do so
be prepaired to wait 6 months as thats how long it took to reword the coding to prevent the turret skill stacking |

i did test, we do know.
currently its only the drivers skills the effect the vehicle (ignoring turrets)
the pilot dropsuit bonus is a skill
therfore only the drivers dropsuit effects the vehicle.
just because your friend jumps in and has vehicle shield skills doesnt mean you get more shield resistances / armor resistances, regen, any other skill based effect. |

Wow howcome you got access to pilot suits and rest of us didnt?
dropsuit skills are built identicle to shield/resistance/regen/ armor/ rep skills
if something applys to one, it applys to all |

the effect resistance amounts and shield recharge, wich are easy to test for and have been tested for in both the last build AND this build
passinger skills do NOT effect the vehicle they are in outside of turrets they are personally controlling
tested in every possable way i could think up
