what about...
maps that would be made up of multiple rooftops, some with bridges crossing and some not, and only aerial vehicles will be allowed on the map, maybe M-TAC's when they arrive, but no LAV's or HAV's.
Maybe places like the closest objectives to your home base and MCC are slightly sanctioned from the rest of the map by not being connected with a bridge to the main map area. That way it will be harder to get close to the MCC or ground base and red line players. and the only way to get to the final objective would be to cross the gap using an aerial vehicle (speeder bike/dropship).
Of course piloting will not be easy on these maps, because everybody and their grandmother are going to be watching the skies for vehicles on this map, as there are no "death taxi's" to watch out for.
Another cool feature would be to add a second floor down from the roof so that some refuge from orbital strikes is available, but not complete coverage would be best, that way a lucky round might find its way through a gap in the roof.
lastly, I think multiple platform levels would be a great idea as well, that way the dedicated snipers can fight for the high ground, and more shooting angles and cover opportunities are opened and closed, depending on what platfoms the shooters/targets are on.

also has anyone ever considered a progressive gameplay mode like rush on battlefield (one of my favourite gametype's ever). just a thought. |

how is the current proto AV OP... I've hit an armor tank with 5-6 (incase one missed) proto packed AV nades while at a depot and preceded to hit him with my adv swarm launcher 3 times (the fit was using 2 complex light dmg modes), and he still drove off with about 10-15% armor left by the time he was out of sight and other people may well have been helping as well, who knows.... moral of the story AV is not OP, 4 guys AV'ing you, is OP. |
