As of now, its sad that they fill opposite roles. As a light weapon, the MD fails, as a sidearm, the Flaylock is terrifying.
So why not replace the distance drop of the MD with the Flaylocks so that it's much better to use the MD in an assault situation and a flaylock in a support situation?

What? The MD fails?
My previous games of me getting blown up do not indicate that.
Then again, I am a Heavy who for the life of me cannot run away fast enough. |

Playing it now.
As a MD user, I'd even go so far as to say the first Prototype MD user from the E3 build last year, its pretty disappointing still.
The splash radius and damage is alright.
However, the distance drop is disappointing, its bad when I have to aim all the way up 3 m in order to shoot a guy across the road.
Also, sights are still terribad practically even though they look good, and the rate of fire is incredibly weak and is way reduced from the older builds. |

Yesterday, I was going one on one against a flaylock and I was using a EXO-5 Mass Driver. I was taking so much damage from it. I won the battle because the guy run out of ammo. I say they need a nerf and a damage nerf to be exact. A lot of people may hate this but they are just worried about their precious OP gun. |

One is a missile launcher, and one is a grenade launcher. I think they represent that well enough in their drop distances. |
