What can the bonuses be to the new scout suits coming up? Take your stabs. Hacking speed? Sprint speed? Cloaking efficacy? Precision scanning? Sniper bonuses? Active scanner bonuses?
New modules for scouts: A jumping bean module lol, an active module where you leave a decoy in your place? Brainstorm friends. |

I've read the Caldari are supposed to be good at E-warfare, so I would like the Cal Scout to have some sort of E-warfare bonus. |

That seems cool, but actually would just make it really obvious that there's a scout next to you. Some other FPS did this - I think Resistance 3? Anyway, I always loved when my radar went static because it meant some idiot is close who wasted one of his perks and will be easier to kill.
To someone who knows how to aim and isn't married to their radar, this will be no threat at all. All in all, a mixed bag that I actually can see them putting into this game despite how I wouldn't use it. |

If you jam the radar from afar like the scanner then it wouldn't be a problem. |

Like Niuvo said, it's range would allow the scout to stay out of harm's way. As for it's usefulness, it's a situational tool just like any EW tool will be. This one will happen to shine the most when paired with a cqc stealth fighter (to help them avoid detection once passive is fixed) or when fighting players who relay information through voice chat (granted, if this was a concern to the players, they could communicate through voice options outside of Dust). Perhaps it could also hide deaths from the affected enemy's kill feeds to further its use for the cqc combo. |

Mechanics that adversly affect voice chat are a bad idea in my opinion.
The simple fact that you can just use alternate voice comms such as TeamSpeak on a phone, laptop or computer would make it useless in competative gameplay.
Rather than wasting dev time on something that can be so easy neutered I'd like to see other ewar options. |

^ brainstorm here. I really thought the "decoy module" would be a sweet idea for ewar. |

A piece of equipment that a scout activates, and for a time, scrambles all the HUD elements of nearby/targeted enemies to the point that they are useless.
I'd use it just to annoy people. |

Amarr has better ships for EWAR imo, but Gallente is good for scanning, and they have the best cloaking ships, which is why I think the Gallente light frames will be the best for cloaking. |
