Well yall wanted logis to be more of an important role so you took the extra equipment slots from the assault and scout.
Look where that's gotten us.
Good idea for sure but in practice it's different ain't it?
Now you've got most of the assault players using logi and giving it a bad name.
Just give the scout and the assault back their slots already, and increase cpu/pg so we can actually fit things there's no reason to keep it as is. |

Add 1 equipment slot, but do not increase the CPU/PG so it limits assaults to basic equipment. |

I don't know about assault but I can tell you that a scout with 3 shields and 2 kinetics with a light proto weapon cannot even fit a grenade, sidearm or equipment. Its not even competitive. I got 323 shield and 74 armor. Does that sound like proto to you? Most ''logis'' are running double that and can still carry all the goodies like I don't know, an ''I win'' grenade, a ''give me the WP'' pod and nanos, repair tool etc...
I don't think it's asking for the moon to at least have a full fit without empty slots. The class is made for speed and I can't even fit the kinetics or else I gimp out on everything else.
Which brings me to my next point : RESPEC |

Thats a problem with the scout suit being very weak overall. |

Well yeah, but it already has very few slots and you can't fit stuff into all of them, hence the need for more cpu pg. |

Well you can get an equipment slot and more CPU/PG but it sounds to me that those equipment slots will go unused in order to take advantage of the extra CPU/PG to be able to buff up the scout suit. Which is fine, but I think that the scout suits needs to be reworked before requesting equipment modules for it. |

You are right. In the old patch I had equipment slots filled with stuff at the expense of a sidearm and good light weapon. I was using an exile AR which takes 23 CPU and 3 PG and using very basic items in the equipment slots. I had made a complaint about the lack of cpu pg since the fit did not feel like proto if I had to use a pellet gun. I can't say if it was because of the complaints but they proceeded in taking out the equipment slots.
Ideal base for me:
3 proto shields
2 proto kinetics
1 proto weapon
1 decent grenade
3 equipment slots:
a)Pod
b)Scanner
c)Explosives
What class better to use the scanner than the scout really? Yet I would really like to know how many scouts leveled up to proto scanner and use it over other necessary gear. What class better to place a quick POD? Same for explosives. I think the equipement slots made the scout so much more interesting to play. Too bad they did not see it that way. |

I think the equipment slot is one of the things scouts need. Howevver, I'm not convinced that an equipment slot is what Assaults need. We already have the problem of Logis being Assaults. Do we really need to allow Assaults to be Logis? I think we need to find a solution that increases the Assault's combat capabilities while also decreasing the appeal of using Logis as Assaults. |

Wait, assaults and scouts don't have equipment slots? I'm sorry to anybody who I bad mouthed for jumping on the logi bandwagon. I had no idea how weak they made your suit, here have some reps, do you need any ammo?
Seriously though, all assaults and scouts should have at least 1 equipment slot. |

i prefer to remove the equipment slot on assaults and add 1 to scouts. But i would also remove 1H and 1L slot for logis too |

I'd be fine with Scouts unlocking a second equipment slot at Proto.
Another option is introducing further spec classes. Like, you unlock "Combat Logistics" & "Medical Logistics" as separate suit tiers at Logistics V, and you have various options in there. Sub-tiers for scouts and assaults could give them suits that build on assault bonuses, but allow slightly adjust roles in similar fashion to the alternate suit types pre-uprising. Or you could see it as vaguely equivalent to the "role" tanks like Vayus I guess.
Add an equip-slot, lose some speed, bonus to equipment fitting, lose a low slot... whatever. |

As long as its compensated for the logis by making us faster, higher EHP,and a side arm. Can't really be a good logi if you cant survive. |
