"All is Fair in Love and War"... not when it comes to balancing a game.
I have no problem with the strafe speed personally, BUT where does that leave heavies and their stupidly slow turning / tracking speed?
You increased the strafe speed but left the heavies with their slow turning speed and thought this was balanced? I'm getting tired of feeling like the dejected progeny; the bastard child of DUST.
Honestly, people even think / care about heavies over @ CCP?

Shields are massively OP. Heavy's are fine, they're not meant to be moving around so much, and more for corridor shooting/defense. |

Deal with it. Strafing can't save you from a HMG in choke points. Have you used an HMG? Lol, if anything, this is EXACTLY what saves you from an HMG in choke points. Forward strafe FTW
Also. Why are you advancing on an HMG heavy through a choke point again? |

Turning up strafe speed was a non noticeable way of nerfing the smg....get sea sick trying to keep a bead on scouts in cqc.....but it is a buff "everybody" got.

Try hanging around B in the complex and see how many kills a heavy can rack up. I barely carry a repper anymore and stick to triage hives because the HMG destroys people dumb enough to get close. |

I'm more curious why our weaknesses are doubled in every situation compared to other suits.
What I mean is, for better or worse we are armor tankers. And we are slow, so we do not dictate range.
Railguns, which attack at long range, **** us. This is not a situation we can do anything about, if some clown is gonna stay at range he is gonna stay at range. What exactly are we going to do about it? The rail rifle, which has yet to be put into the game, is at the extreme end of range and does bonus damage to armor. We can do nothing to fight back against that, AND they get to do extra damage to us just for kicks?
In bottleneck situations, explosives, not HMG's, rule the day. We cannot move fast enough to avoid the blast radius, yet all explosives deal additional damage to our armor. How is that fair again?
Every counter against us is a hard counter. And things which are supposed to be weak against us (ex: shotgun) still end up raping us the majority of the time thanks to idiotic turning mechanics. |

Turn speed based on movement speed has to go. My only issue is, I change suits several times a match, I have to retrain my brain and muscle memory every time I switch from my low hp repping suit to my large hp Buffer suit. Turn speed based on suit, stinks. But turn speed based on how many armor mods your rocking is just plain silly.

Maybe, just maybe, the commando suit with two light weapon slots is meant to give heavies more options for dealing with opponents at various ranges and maybe, just maybe, whining about heavy suits while we are missing three racial variants (which is ridiculous BTW) is premature |

Cuz we have so many indoor maps. And our effective range isn't even the width of a street. |
