Before 1.2 I had no problems with aiming. Now, after the update, aiming is terrible for the Assault Scrambler Rifle. I have my sensitivity set to 0/0 and there is little to no difference to what I had it set before. Hip firing is now all over the place making it very hard for me to hit people. The countless amount of people that bunny hop around after the update doesn't help. PLUS with the unnecessary range that all guns have now, it makes it almost impossible to get any kills.
I don't know what you did with aiming in 1.2, but you screwed it up. (At least on my game) |

I don't know what you did with aiming in 1.2, but you screwed it up. (At least on my game) Having the same problem but with both the Assault and Semi Auto Scrambler Rifles. Prior to 1.2 I was truly a Scrambler Rifle master...now I feel like some newberry just trying one for the first time. The Auto SCR's hipfire now feels utterly atrocious plus I've come to notice it now takes a ridiculous amount of rounds to actually kill an enemy player that you're effectively tracking. Idk what CCP did, but the Scrambler Rifles are not the glorious weapons they once were. After 1.2 the game feels overly "cartoony" and is really starting to get on my nerves.
Maybe it's just the Scrambler Rifles. |

lol. SRs were always like that.

They really weren't. Hip firing used to be accurate, It never took half a magazine to kill someone, and it never was this inaccurate before. |

Actually, ASR optimal range got buffed to almost the same as AR.

It's not the range that's the problem. It's the terrible aim the CCP gave to the ASR and the fact that they increased strafing speed to make it terrible to hit people

1. Yes 2. Close quarters battles and easier to move with it. |

Bump out of curiosity of what happened to the AScR. It's probably because the game is "smoother". .
This game's "smoothness" really seems to be messing up my gun. |

I don't know what you did with aiming in 1.2, but you screwed it up. (At least on my game) My aiming has gone trough the roof with these changes to FPS and i have no issues tracking these new strafe speeds. what you are all experiencing is not being able to keep up your aim on target.
I can keep my aim on him. I'll just make that clear before you point the 'you're bad' finger. It's the SR and the AscR that feel gimped after 1.2. It takes more bullets to kill him, bullets are now not registering, and it just feel overall worse. |

I did have to turn my settings down to 50/50 though and for some weird reason it changed my driving controls ARe you using the SR? |

Nah, mostly Ar, sniper, smg, scram pistol, and even the laser rifle since I got 50 free ones, havent felt a single thing wrong with the aiming of any of them I was only talking about the SR. Of course the AR will have little problems. I feel like they're gonna do this to the combat and the rail rifle. Make it useful at first. Then make it a challenge to use it later. |

Laurent Cazaderon wrote:Hmmm. I have no issues whatsoever with the Scrambler Rifles post 1.2... It behaves exactly like i expect it too. Yes it has a way higher dispersion than the AR but it's in its genes. At mid long range, assault version needs to be used by correcting recoil. Which made me think of full-autoing AK47 in cs back in the day a bit ^^ At close range, well it's obviously worst. But it's not supposed to be a close range weapon. Bottom line, i dont see any problem with it and do just fine. But feel free to get it buff, i wont stop you
I primarily use the Assault variation. Pre 1.2 I used it very effectively for mid and close range. Now it feels like the amped up the dispersion.
I still use it effectively, but it seems like more of a challenge.
Maybe it's now that everyone can aim now that people can actually fire back. AR users |

Guns shooting father means AR can kill you before you even see them
Getting shot from something that you don't even know where it's at isn't a good thing

After using the 'Exile' AR I had NO problems with aiming. Then I went back to my AScR. Still, it doesn't feel like it used to. I did notice some of my hits weren't registering. Seeing that some people are having trouble with the AScR and some people not, it seems like certain servers aren't as good as others.
For an online game to be complete, you can't have some players have trouble with the game and some people not.
At least I have my Mass Driver back.
You guys will probably not be seeing me in battle with the AScR anymore. Just the MD |
