I was wondering the same thing. It's nice to see that the disappearing bullets are gone, but I'd still like to know max, effective and drop off ranges for my weapons. |

I like that we don't see them, it adds to the importance of player skill and judging enemy distance is now something we have to practice to learn our weapon's optimal range. |

I have to disagree with that. Having the range stats can help with balance discussions, and more importantly can help a player decide what type of weapon he'd prefer before skilling into it.
It would take some of the very high learning curve out of the game if you have an idea of the right range to use your new gun, too.
Complete stats on every item in the game is the best option, in my less-than-humble opinion. |

They are referring to the ranges not being given in the Show Information screen for the weapon. The removal of the range finder on screen when you were targeting something is a completely different matter.
