A bunch of my corp mates and myself have noticed a rather large nerf to stamina. Which could also explain the reason why scouts are now having a rather difficult time.
Whats the reasoning behind this CCP? I feel it is actually going to enhance the already hot button issue of murder taxis.

Stamina was perfect, no one was asking to have stamina, out of all things, nerfed. |

Agreed. I think they increased the stamina needed to jump too |

There are two options here: - You are suffering a lot from the stamina nerf. Thus you equip biotics. Great. - You are not suffering a lot from the stamina nerf. Thus you keep your regulators or armor modules in the low slots. Great.

I already ran a cardiac reg pre 1.2
I still feel slower and would love for CCP to give scouts overall a slight movement and sprint speed.
Not really feeling the stamina hit (if there was one) though and I only have a Lv1 regulator. |

The amount it takes to jump is ridiculous and unrealistic. When people call things unrealistic in a video game you know CCP is doing something wrong. 1.2 was a pretty big susses though =p |

Yeah I always ran cardiac reg. Still feeling the pinch, its one of the many things that have crippled scouts this build |

A scout needs jump to access areas through alternate paths to evade squads etc.
Not just bunny hopping and if that is the issue make the significant stamina drop on the third jump or better yet, employ a mantle mechanic for scouts so they can climb certain structures instead of having to jump.
You cant have a game where the speed suits have speed negated, cant jump too much and then allow the slayer suits load up on tank or gank when they already have more hp. If that is what you want get rid of the class altogether and just make all trees branch from the medium suit where you choose speed or heavy access etc. |

I'll admit I used it all the time, but the old "keep tapping L3" system was an exploit.
And yes, the idea probably was making the transport role more needed, as players can't just run everywhere. Btw, LLAVs aren't the optimal ground transport- scout LAVs handle way better. |

Oh I dont like bunnyhopping either but by killing it for one aspect it has hurt an essential aspect of the scout.
Just try jumping over two boxes to get over a wall to get into an area. If you have been running or messed up on your jump you have to twiddle your thumbs. Even if you did it right, you get into the area with minimum stamina.
I would just like CCP to take the next two to three updates looking into improving other classes.
Scouts imo should be running, or using the single seat "cycle" when it comes - other classes should use lav's

As a logi my stamina has always been bad, my movement speed too. As a gallente logi running armor plates I can say that the speed really sucks. Well no problemo I just added this Cardiac regulator module to my suit and I had enough stamina (and regen) to keep up with everyone and hop over obstacles,....
With update 1.2 I feel much slower and seem to have less stamina to do what I used to do. There goes a suit that I really enjoyed to run...(and with it the invested SP). |

The problem is that we already used these biotics before this change. Well not a change...a nerf like you called it correctly. Anyway nice try to talk about something you don't have experience with. |

Didn't you know? Future genetically enhanced combat clones have impaired physical abilities. They can jump 6-8 inches high, can run full speed for less than a minute, throw like they some wussy arms.
Just making fun, but no, the inability to jump over anything really blows. I love how jumping onto ledges or angled surfaces takes about 5 attempts. You gotta back up, pep talk your self run as fast as your little legs can carry you and.....juuuump!! Oh yay I jumped over a f*****g curb! |

It really boils down to mobility. Not being able to jump over a ledge sucks. Not to mention you just wasted 3/4 of your stamina trying to do it.
I see the point in stamina, it gives meaning to different classes and helps players make a choice. But it shouldn't ruin the mobility that is required for a competitive fps. Nothing is worse than trying to vault a wall and being unable to, mearly because you don't have the sufficent stamina. Hell there are boxes in specific locations to allow players more access points....but if it takes you a long time to jump the three times to use the "shortcut"....what's the point?
Perhaps using a mechanic similar to Brink would be useful? I though the devs of brink did an excellent job of diferentiating the different size suits. |

I was already at a disadvantage running everywhere. Wasn't broken; didn't need fixed. |
