So in light of this, when will be getting burst (mimic Minmatar) and breach (mimic Caldari) scrambler rifle variants to have the full variant set like the ARs? right now the scrambler rifles only have the assault variant.
Also, the operation skill bonus of the AR benefits all the variants, while the operation skill bonus of the scrambler rifle is only useful for the charge variant; that is a bad design choice. |

No worries, with the new shooting mechanics the scrambler rifle is most of the times quiet useless, just take the assault and there you go lol |

Yup.......I have been rocking the Imp scrambler for a while now and know how to use it very effectively.....hopped on yesterday and barely any hits are registering. I even used the charge shot against an enemy that was not moving and was very close to me......I got a hit marker but it did 0 dmg. I took on a heavy at point blank with him only having 1/2 of his armor HP left and no shields (imp scrambler should eat this up fast)......I ended up shooting 15 rounds into him (~70 dmg per shot to armor) and then meleeing him and the only dmg that was counted was the melee. The hit detection for the charged scrambler was completely FUBARed.........on a positive note the assault scrambler hit detection appeared to be 100% so I guess I know what I will be using now. |

It's not entirely clear, but I hear the Optimal/Max on the TAR is still higher than the Imperial Scrambler. |

The TAR-blaster is the longest range of the ARs we've seen so far. The Pulse Laser is shorter than that. The railgun will be breach, and the combat rifle will be... who knows range-wise. It's all sorts of messed up lore-wise. |

They really like Gallente?
The ranges seem to look like: 65 optimal 100 max TAR and 50 optimal 87 max Imp Scrambler
That gives the TAR 30% better optimal and 15% more max range. Maybe they're going to change EVE so blasters out-range and out-damage everything. That'd be pretty cool. |

This is a bit wierd. Some of the variants would seem a bit nonsensical, like breach sniper rifle (maybe decreased scope sway when standing in exchange for lower effective range?) And what would a tactical mass driver be? or a burst laser rifle? |

It'd be OP and pretty much every Cap who does combat would quit. Every. Last. One. After, every last other role would start to quit. the game revolves around combat pilots dying. but if 3/4's of people die because of something that OP, you'd best believe they would start quitting. |

Okay, that makes more sense, he could have said that a breach but with rial range, and it would've made sense. |
