So Ive narrowed down what I would like to put my SP into at the end of this event, and would apreciate some feedback.
Do I.....
A.) Take Assault Rifle Proficiency from 3 to 5 for that juicy 6% damage boost
B.) Level up Forge Guns as much as I can in anticipation of 1.3 Vehicle spam (and to secondary as AV specialist)
C.) Play DUST the proper way and sit on my SP till 1.4 or later |

I'm going for pilot suit level 3 for both Gallente and Winmatar, at least. I'd rather lvl 5 for Winmatar for a huge damage bonus. |

I'm personally favoring Forge Guns, even though they went from being bad ass lightning cannons to bright shiny disco ball launchers, I'm not quite sure who is responsible for that..... |

I have actually strongly considered that option, but it doesn't really fit how I've skilled my heavy :/
You could use a Sentinel with a shotgun and nova knives. Level up melee damage stuff (if that applies to knives), use your one high slot for a complex sidearm damage mod (again, if that applies to knives) 3x Complex Speed mods and 1 Complex Recovery mod. Drop the shotgun or use cheap version if fittings are too tight, I'd have to actually sit with the calculator for this.
It fits my playstyle wonderfully, but it would kind of invalidate the way I've built this guy, and my decisions matter, so....

As a casual player, I don't know where to put my 100k SP. Well, I only need to ask myself this question if I manage to earn as much, without killing my family, forget my responsibilityGÇÖs and skip work. I can only hope that CCP find a way in how to make the game more casual friendly without disadvantaging the hardcore/core gamer.

I still believe dropships will eventually find their place. That's where my bonus SP is going. I call it hope, others call it stupidity, but no pilot can deny the feeling of immense satisfaction when a gunner grabs a kill. |

Saving up the 777.3k SP for the proficiency skill level 5 right now, 50k to go. Although I almost exclusively use FG fits.
Go with whatever weapon you use the most, AR or FG. The dependence on DPS in Dust is very much like the Eve ship side. |
