What i disliked about update 1.2 was the faster switch weapons. While increasing the weapon switch speed encourages more sidearm usage (when primary runs out of ammo or waiting for scrambler heat to cool down), i personally feel that weapon switch speed should have been a weapon specific skill along with proficiency. In addition, i also feel that faster weapon switch should have only applied to sidearms (pistols/smgs/knives). Reasoning: swapping from pistol to HMG seems pretty OP imo. What didnt you guys like? |

The fact that the forums damn near burned down when we found the numbers for the new plates and they did NOTHING. |

I dislike the CPU and PG costs of the new plates. For my Gallente alt, the STD level plates are difficult to even fit on my basic suit without a CPU/PG upgrade mod. It's like I have to max my core skills before the STD plates are even viable. The stats of the plates are bad as well.
I also dislike how I got pubstomped in pretty much every single match. I went from averaging 600 - 700 WP on my Gallente alt to only earning 400 - 500... It quite literally felt like my playstyle (armour tank&damage mods) recieved a nerf. |

i think ferroscale are fine but reactive needs some tweaking. |

I'm a bit disappointed in the new plates, but we'll see. They might wind up getting a buff sooner or later.
I think the Shield Energizers should require a skill to use, even if it's just folded into Shield Extenders or Rechargers. Kind of odd that every other piece of equipment in the game requires a skill.
Not sure how I feel about the new headshot sound effect. It seems a bit too loud, but it may just be that I got used to the old one.
I preferred the old large-print "Triage unit detected..." on the map screen. Now it's too small for me to read if I've already clicked "continue," but that's more because I don't have an HDTV than anything. The version on the killscreen is fine, though.
That's all minor stuff, though. I rather like 1.2 so far. |
