Oh kind sirs of CCP when are you going to sort Matchmaking out then ?
Instead of closing a topic why not try actually answering a question seeing as it's the reason you only have 4k ppl playing Dust, i got 12 friends of mine to start playing the game and they've all left now because they got tired of being outgunned and outgeared in every single game they played .. losing is fine, losing when you dont have a chance is depressing
PS 3X sp for everyone doesn't close the gap between new players and vets couldnt you have made it x5 if your sp is below 2mil or something ? I understand that they've played longer so should be stronger and that it costs alot of sp to get high lvl skills but if your not going to sort matchmaking out then your going to have to boost the sp of new players to close the gap and make games more balanced |

Matchmaking has already been talked about and will be implemented at a later date. What date specifically they will not say, nor will calling them out somehow magically change their minds and give us a complete date with a full list of notes on the inner workings of the system.
As for the 3x SP comment, it actually will close the gap a bit. The object of the game isn't to max everything. Personally, I have over 10m SP. At some point, I cap myself out in my profession. At that point, you pick up a new one. It's a lateral movement at best.
A lot of the closed beta vets that still play are already maxed out in their favorite roles. There's no way they can get any better at what they're doing. The only thing the extra SP enables these maxed players to do is pick up a new profession. |
