This huge update reminded that newcomers have to download version "5", and then the update for "5.02". Or have they changed policy for this one? Many triers will get bored already at the download screen... |

both wi-fi and wired stuck, now on 5%....and when i try to cancel it, the ps3 system crashes...

Anyone knows if i download Dust all again from PSN, i have to make that day one client update or i will have to make only this Uprising 1.2? Because i can't make this download right, its crashing my ps3 everytime....and its not my internet connection because i downloaded some Breaking Bad episodes today... |

Normally I use a wireless connection, but when I download big things like this, I plug in the wire. My PS3 slim said download speed was 21Mbit/s in the connection test. When I started downloading it estimated 31 minutes. Actual time was 1 hour. I have a 100Mbit fibre connection. Hm, something isn't right here... for the better!

they seriously need to provide a manual update file for these large patches like sony does for its PS3 firmwares.
These take too long and they crash so much. What should take only 2-3 hrs takes like 10-12..
the update process needs to be looked into seriously. |

1 GB = 1 billion bytes(actually more but who cares)
1 Byte = 8 bits
