with the logistic, commando, and upcoming pilot suit. Because they completely lack originality CCP didn't even try to make the logistic look any different just yellow painted all over the suit which was a huge complaint for a lot of players. And for a bunch of hardcore players who probably also play EVE that was a huge mistake. I remember seeing the pink quafe suit and just thinking omg CCP why would you do this? Is it a troll attempt? I guess they figured that light pink wasn't very hardcore for a futuristic merc to be deploying in to battles with because the last time I saw the quafe suit it looked purple. My point is we need to show some originality in this game and stop making our suits look like fluffy bunny hugging, tree loving, super suits.
Fixes*
Give all factional logistic suits their on look besides the Minmitar.
Give the Minmitar Assault suit it's own look because it is simply a copy of the Minmitar logistic suit.
Give the command it's own look so it does not look like all the other heavy suits with a different paint job.
Give the upcoming pilot suit it's own look, something that makes it look like it belongs in a vehicle.

Soo.. A giant neon sign over their head that says "Hey look, this suit really sucks since you see me not in a vehicle, shoot here!"
Why would anyone in a pilot suit not be in a vehicle.... |

Some people bail out when their vehicle is getting ready to explode, I know that it is standard practice in this game to "Go down with the ship" But I for one, view these vehicles as tools and not my actual character. I'd like for people to not automatically know I'm totally unshielded and unprotected as I try to make my way to a clearning to summon another vehicle.
It doesn't matter if your in a scout or a heavy your gonna get shot at might as well add some originality with different models. Besides chances are anyways if you loose your vehicle your going to die because you have spent the bulk of your sp in that vehicle class. Further more it's a scout suit and you will always be an easy target looking like every other scout just confirms your an easy kill a "shoot here" is painted on your head. |
