At first, I thought it was lag. but the sheer persistence of said "lag" is just far too consistent. It began to slowly occur to me the FPS must be far lower than 30 (the absolute minimum you need for human vision IMHO). IT seems like FPS drops when you are in a group drops to the teens.
Has anyone gotten stats on this?
Also, CCP= can you elaborate on wether issues are more due to persistent FPS drops or network lag?
FWIW, I've played wired direct to my modem, WiFI, wired to a firewall. IT doesn't seem to matter on my side. |

GL with your spam campaign. I'm sure you'll lose more customers than you'll make by spamming. all you'll get is exactly what that panders to, low intellect no money leeches. perfect coupling. PS2 will just go down faster because of it. awesome :) |

FWIW, I've played wired direct to my modem, WiFI, wired to a firewall. IT doesn't seem to matter on my side. I haven't got any stats concerning framerate but it feels like constant 30fps+ are far from a reality just yet, especially in groups and when you look across the map instead of towards the edge. It did improve greatly with 1.2 though, as far as i can tell.
yep. you got trolled by a ps2 spammer.
I posted this before the 1.2 update. and the FPS improvements are way better. |

mr.musturd pointed out a setting in the video options.
texture detail- set it to low. honestly, you can';t even tell a big difference in quality.
also, effect detail low.
don't play at 480. have a little bit more respect for yourself. |

I don't see the same poor frame rate in 1.2 as was present in 1.1.
Even tho there are issues in 1.2, FPS was, IMO, improved drastically. |
