After initially hearing about the HMG range and added then remove damage nerf that was introduced in Uprising, I have not been excited about anything CCP has offered.

The sheer lack of thought into many decisions from UI to item description, to long patching cycles fraught with severe bugs, lag, and disconnects the game concept is being held back by very poor execution. In fact, the 1.5 is based solely on concept. Were the concept of this game absent, it would basically be a joke no one would care to play. At this point, Eve's coat tails have worn away and dust is stuck in the mud like my scout in a bowl of snipers.
If the stickiness to rigidbody physics persists pasts this next round of patches, there is just no way I could continue to play. I WANT to play, but playing at 20ish FPS with intermittent lag coupled with sticking to terrain, curbs, edges... I just literally can't play. I tried sniping with my alt today, and lo and behold. I couldn't shoot anyone because the draw distance wouln't display them. on my newly attained proto rifle 
I am at a loss, at this point, to find any virtue in any aspect of this game is impossible. You can only take so much before the new wears off and you are stuck with the ugly truth. At this point, I'm going to AFK the entire x3 SP event, and then I am off to hawaii and then off traveling. Hopefully, this game gets it's act together by the time I get back.
