In EVE Minmatar are capable of doing all damage types with Projectile Turrets with just very little space needed for the ammo. Their ships have a tendency to shield tanking but most have almost the same amount of Low and Med slots and are thus able to Shield and Armor tank. According to this pic the Minmatar AR will share the same frame with the SMG and other SMG sub types and thus also be very "versatile". Maybe this will happen with the Minmatar "Forge Gun" and other future Minmatar weapons too?
Now to my idea: Wouldn-Št it look cool if the Minmatar Dropsuits Frames would all share the same inner suit and would be just adapted with plates, some kind of hydraulic system on the jails to strenthen or fasten the movement or other things? There should be enough things to make them all not look the same but also not too much, so that you can identify the basic inner frame on all.

I can't tell if you're talking about gameplay design and balance, or if you're talking purely about art and visuals. |

Versatility isn't really a visual motif. The minmatar visual theme is something jerry rigged or shoehorned into functionality. Minmatar visuals are sharp edges, rust-colored metal, and duct tape. Flying Minmatar ships has been described as "like going down a flight of stairs taped to an office chair, firing an uzi in each hand." That's why minmatar scouts looked like they just walked out of the desert on Arrakis (knives help), and the medium suits look like they came out of Fallout. Minmatar stuff isn't pretty, it isn't safe, but it is reliable and good at killing people.
Plus, as far as visual design goes, I'm pretty sure the artists at CCP have been doing this a good long while and thought about how minmatar should look a lot longer than any of us. |

I See the Minis as Primarily Speed Tanking, and Gank Tanking
The are Little Paper Targets for my Railguns to Vaporize. (Yes, given enough force, a Small Projectile can Vaporize a Target. The Mythbusters have already proven this.)
(Yes I know that Sled was powered By Rockets. but that don't matter. its the Force it Exerts on target that Counts.)
(P.S. That Sled was only going 700 MPH, I think. Mah Railgun is going at Hypersonic Velocity, which Mach 10 and up |

They favor Hit-and-Run tactics. I don-Št know how you-Šve come to their tanking style but here my idea is just about their suit design.
PS: It is 2500 km/h fast

They at least need to keep their reputation for being whatever kind of tank they want. Right now they're forced to shield tank (wasn't the case with the old minmatar logi), and somehow AMARR are the versatile ones. How the hell did that happen? |

I think I created a thread about that already.
PS: My idea is just about their suit design, not their stats or slot layout. |

From EVE ships what I have seen is the Amarr coming out as the most versatile all though they only tank armor. And a lot of Minmitar ship bonuses are for shield if I can recall maybe I'm wrong haven't been on EVE for a day and I am a Caldari player with my only other experience in Gallente ships. |

If we really considered looks = performance then the Minmatar and Caldari suits would be the slowest due to their lack of aerodynamics, the Minmatar would have the second biggest hit box because of how bulky they are, and you cant see me people on the left side of the screen because your missing that eye. |

This thread has nothing to do with performance, gameplay, stats or slot layout! It is just about the design of minmatar suits! Why does everybody mean it is about their stats or gamplay? |
