First, I have three characters, one Gallente, one Minmatar, one Amarr, (I don't abide Caldari scum... Heheh just kidding I'm working on a Cal also but he is just collecting passive right now) and so far the Gallente is my favorite.
So, I was just wandering, which do you (my Gallente brothers) find more effective:
Armor tank Repair tank Speed tank
Right now I am heavily leaning toward speed tank, I have a few repair tanks that I really like with the logi though. IMO armor tanking is just terrible right now. I am hopping that the new armor will fix this but I am not getting my hopes up. |

1-2 plates and 1-2 reppers, with at least one repper being the 3hp/s enhanced ones. I like the style of armor tanking, with your shields as an outer buffer with a quick recharge, and armor repairing at a constant rate. |

I do mean run also. I was playing with my alliance yesterday and we were wondering if we should invite this one guy, when this exchange happened: Guy A: "Well, he does tend to run off and do his own thing." Squad Leader: "Well, as a scout I can relate to that." Guy A: "Yeah, but he's a heavy." |

Speed kills. (But you might wanna rep a bit too, as being tethered to Logis and being fast don't usually go hand in hand)
ADV speed. PRO repair. Plates suck unless you're a Heavy or Sniper. Or both. That's my 0.02 ISK. |

When I speed tank my logi I use a complex repair also. When I speed tank my assault I also shield tank and carry a repair nano. |

I was thinking doing something similar with my new gal logi. 2 enhanced plates, 2 complex rep, 1 enhance stamina, 2 damage mod and 1 enhance shield. |

I use like...Armor Plates and Shield extenders...Only because I can win most firefights by outlasting the opponent. |

That is armor tanking (actually double tank, i guess, but Gal can't really pull off a true shield tank) the shields are just a bonus. You should try a complex damage mod or two. I'll bet you would really enjoy that. |
