I mean really, they are pathetic. I think giving them the same nanite amount as a standard but only having one instead of two would be good. |

Tectonious Falcon wrote:Nano hives were fine and CCP shouldn't have touched them. No, they weren't. I had no incentive to go up from militia nanohives, or standard nanohives. The idea behind the change is good, the execution isn't. (CCP in a nutshell?) |

But that's your incentive to level up and spend more isk on better ones! Remember, the entry level stuff is for newbies. They're going to use it and see how terrible it is and never skill into it. It's not like they are visiting the forums or watch the patch notes like us, they won't have a clue that going up the levels will give them more ammo. |

Then listen to the rage/disbelief when the hive is used up before the bubble animation is even rendered. :D |

Advanced and prototype nanohives are still awesome. |

I'm still thinking that how they are should be fine, I understand the new player aspect, but also think its a good learning curve, you want better, roadmap it for your SP choices. Its also in the core skills section, which isn't a bad lace for newberries to be heading. Dude, they're going to see how terrible the militia version is and never skill up. Think about it this way, where does the game tell them that the advanced and prototype nanohives are a significant jump up? |

How would they know anything gets better onced SP is sunk, because that is the theme of the game, and it pretty obvious pretty early. Also the amount the militia gives isn't the problem either, its the speed, how many bullets per cluster, for a sniper it goes +2.........................+2...................................+2 lol, its like waiting to get aids. That's not as big of a deal. The problem is that I can get maybe half of the max bullets in an AR before it disappears. And you only get one. |

Oso Peresoso wrote:I never really thought about them being terrible. I suppose they are. I use only the standard one, and while its slow and runs out, it does sort of get the job done. I think the militia version should get the second carried nanohive of the standard one, and they could both use a little buff to their capacity. No buff to standard. Buff militia nanite clusters to the same amount as the standard nanohive. The difference being that the standard lets you carry two, the militia lets you carry one. |
