So i decided to go into mass drivers on an alt to see if they really suck as bad as people say they do, and really they arent that bad, i can usually pull off a decent 1.0 kdr with plenty of assists, I use the assault varient and it takes me 4 shots to kill but i can shoot pretty fast and im able to hit people behind cover as long as i stay with my team to protect me
TL;DR: mass drivers are UP but not as bad as everyone thinks |

Mass drivers aren't UP like people say they are. The ones who say they are are n00b-tubers, I think, who expect to kill people on their first shot. I have a couple of Corpmates who use them, and say they excel at what they were made for: thinning the herd. Crowd control, people, not killing. You want to kill, use a rifle. |

Yea i dont mind assists but there were plenty of times that i ganked a horde of enemies and shot a few rounds into them, damaged them badly but my team refused to come and clean up the mess, NO GUTS NO GLORY! |

The MD is UP but knowing that there is a chance of the MD will not cause any splash damage or it would go through the ground. I want to know what was your K/D stats when you used the MD. |

The MD is not UP its just broken at the moment, sometimes you see explosions right next to people and no hit markers, sometimes the round passes straight through enemies, and rarest of all you press to fire the gun makes the noise but nothing else happens.
Thankfully this is getting fixed in 1.2 (supposedly.) |
