Yes! Dust lottery! When the ability to transfer ISK is released, I will be starting up a Dust Lottery! Sending in 10,000 ISK guarantees your participation in this weekly drawing. Just follow the simple rules below, and you have a chance of winning tons of isk!
-Reply to this thread saying you will be sending in 10,000 ISK and send the money to 'Probably A Pistol' via in game isk transfer
-Wait.
I will be doing a drawing, at random, of the names that participate. The winner is declared on Saturday! The winner will get the total amount of ISK that is in the pot. THE MORE PEOPLE THAT PARTICIPATE, THE MORE MONEY YOU COULD GET.
I will post a thread of the winner on Saturday and send an ingame mail to the winner with the amount of isk he/she won
!ALL ISK IS GIVEN TO THE WINNER!
With the thread post of the winner, the new lottery starts. You can comment your participation on that winner's thread.

It is, but starting an actual lottery is not in any way unfeasible...escpecially when we get API's and secondary market, item trading get implemented.
I just hope this is rather sooner than Soon(tm)er... |

Good luck, the problem is having 100k entries and keeping track of them all. I have thought about this and even mailed a CPM for suggestions or help. If there was a way to generate a list of payed tickets it would be easy but as right now it would be very difficult to do. |

I'll be doing a lottery as well, only my tickets will cost 100 ISK (yes, only one-hundred) instead of 10,000.  One person will win every week, and the prize will be the number of entries received times 100 of ISK (i.e the amount of ISK I make off selling tickets). |

Why not have someone from CPM hold the money and they can give it to someone that's in the pool and not just to an alt you may have. |

I support this statement. If you can get Chribba to support this idea then I would be more than happy to help spread the word. It would be something fun to do.
But as of now, it sounds like a scam, granted 10k isn't anything honestly.
But if you get his backing, you would have a huge outcome and you can start doing dividends on inputted ISK.
- Example: people start donating more than 10k... lets say 30k to increase their chances by 3 times etc.
Then maybe even from there, you could implement a way for you to make money out of doing it, maybe keep 5% as a sort of 'tax' similar to how the lotteries currently are. |

Even though this sounds awfully fishy, the amount is certainly a paltry amount.
Correct me if I'm wrong - and I may be - but doesn't every battle bring you an average of 150k ISK at least each? |
