Free-to-Play just means you can play it for free, nothing else.
Something in the game has to be monetized to cover the cost of developing and running the game and its servers.
It's not really an issue in Dust. You can do just as well with any gear you can unlock with ISK. Most of the AURUM stuff just has alternate paint jobs. |

more time wasted grinding the game
Like years wasted
blueprints make it obsolete to grind isk makes grinding sp look like a joke.
I really don't mind handing money to the developers for working hard, but not to keep my player covered. |

wait so is this thread [feedback] and are you complaining that you spent 50 bucks on a game that is free to play and you did fairly good but didnt go 100/0? yes it is one of the goals CCP has set out, this game is not ment to be pay to win. if you dont want to spend the skills to get proto gear then buy aurum today, is your piggy bank at -100,000,000 because of a glitch a few weeks ago and now you dont have isk to buy your proto suits, buy aurum today. |

I've seen people make similar steaks in MLT Fits, and STD Fits, that they skilled into and payed ISK for. Some people need the gear, other people just need a controller. |

Highest I gone is 74/0 back in Closed Beta. Not a single AUR (not counting my Dragonfly BPO, which is STD and I had/have the scout suit skill anyways) item on me.Plus, there's no Adv. or PROTO BPO anything, so wtf are you talking about?

Those items have the same stats as their isk variants. It's no different for me killing you with the isk version, just a different name.
The only P2W item is the fused locus grenades. Even those get little use. |

The covenant is literally just a STD Caldari med Frame... costs <50k SP to get into it. That is 1 day of playing or 2 days of passive or... hell... you probably already have that much SP unallocated. BPOs are *literally* just militia gear. At the cost of militia gear, it is impossible not to profit (inb4 vehicles) using ISK variety so... what's youre complaint really? That he was good enough to kill people with a **** suit? Good for him. |

You don't know what pay2win means, do you? Those items listed aren't instant win buttons - in fact they're pretty rubbish and easily beaten by many other things in game. If he did so well with that set up, it means your team were terrible or he's just a very good player. |
