Plus i think CCP intended for new players to get stomped and give uber powers not based on skill but how long you have played.
They just didn't realize that new players would not play their game for very long and would simply quit after less then a week.
Seriously they designed the game this way...and the same guys who designed it this way have to eat crow and implement a matchmaking system that absolutely undermines their intent of how the game works.
The Devs are intentionally dragging their feet because they don't want to do it. Seriously i could write a program that separates players by how much SP they have into tiers and i have not written a piece of code in over a decade. it is not hard...yet they claim it is hard.
The existence of the academy proves that it is not hard. |

There are design considerations in matchmaking though from the fact that not all humans are perfect, accounting for luck, and of course bad luck or bad days and be resistant to hiccups and the sorts. I mean this ain't cheese and WP/SP/KDR alone is not a means to the end results.
I mean what if one day you decided you know what I want to play a new class, all of a sudden you're going to start sucking in pubs until the system realizes what you are doing and knocks you down a peg or two.
Vs the other thing
purposely losing or swapping sets just to get knocked down a peg so you can go pwn some noobs again and not fight people of your own level (a problem in halo 2)

CCP said during E3 that matchmaking would be based on gear....not how good you do in matches.

Because **** changes, gear does not determine skill, and getting the metrics on skill based are probably much harder in programming. What everything I post is never a promise on part of CCP and if you continue to believe that you are in for a sore ride. I mean you're taking human input, layering it into the nuances of this game, then spitting out a rank that when you do matchmaking the players lumped together would be in tolerance. All via a math problem because that is the only language computers really understand.

You made a post claiming a reason why CCP is taking so long. That reason was easily falsified....now you are just throwing up smoke and mirrors.

The fact that you are not calling for elections immediately when this going on or resigning (which would force the CPM to either have an election or expose themselves as scum) only proves how much of a worthless pile of garbage you are.

Yes I would love to tell you whom but that was in the private chambers and I have to respect that much with fellow members as well.
