 Follow me:
 20GJ Blaster damage 25 PG 100 CPU 8
 80GJ Blaster damage 105 PG 1000 CPU 40

assuming we have a 10GJ turret, values should be:

 10GJ Blaster damage 12.5 PG 50 CPU 4 (1/2 20GJ) >>>>80 GJ dmg 100 - - PG 400 - - CPU 32
 or
 10GJ Blaster damage 13.125 PG 125 CPU 5 (1/8 80GJ) >>>> 20 GJ dmg 26.25 - - PG 250 - - CPU 10

Values are different, but the turret is the same.
I have not calculated the other turrets values but i suppose that results will be the same.
Damage and CPU have not a very different difference, but PG value is very different (125-50=75 difference)
The question is 20GJ turrets should cost more PG/CPU or 80GJ turrets should cost less PG/CPU?

Why would we have a 10 GJ? we would have a 40GJ one. Also, the RoF is different between sizes, I believe.

CCP make these Heavy slot equipable i'd fit a 20Gj blaster on my heavy I originally thought that would be what CCP would Do with the Heavies when I heard about them Prior to getting CB access.

damage and cpu are almost linear, pg is the most unstable variant.

Its a control variant to regulate fits. Its part of balancing. the increase in CPU doesnt relate directly to the increase in PG
