Yes because 3 seconds with one or two shield regulators is significant right?
Sorry bud, Armor has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more problems than just shields having a bug in the recharge delay. |

5 stars! can always use armor Oh god not armor! Trust me, unless you have almost no HP because you used it up on reps, you will be staying in cover FOREVER. |

CCP tried to port armor tanking directly from EVE and it just won't work in this game as nobody wants armor suits to be able to soak up bullet after bullet while repping the damage.
Also I can see this getting broken as hell as I'm sure when they change it friendly fire will also reset the timer or some such nonsense. It means that their shields start recharging even under fire. The repair under fire quality of armor is the ONLY advantage it has over shields, and this problem mitigates this.
It has been a problem for a while, but I only brought it forward now because I wanted to make sure this is the case. I needed to test it to be 100% certain. Kitten Empress, the one who posted the thread the dev linked, is my alt. |
