Hello!
I'm a fairly new player, fresh out of the academy but I still haven't seen this thread on the forums (tried searching for it, too).
It happened twice in the last two days, that I was brought to 0 shield and 0 armor but I was still alive.
The first time it was after a sniper shot. I was still using the milita assault gear and I was one-shotted to 0/0. I just ducked under cover and looked at the big 0/0 on the corner of the screen, before the numbers started raising again.
The next episode occured a day later. I was using a normal dropsuit (forgot the name, will check later if needed) with the AR, two shield extenders, 3 grenades, a hive and an armor plate. I was under fire from a tank. Ducked under cover and the tank still brought me to 0/0. I did get my shields back up before being finished off by a rushing peon. But I did still see the 0/0 on health counter.
Now, this might be a normal occurrence in the Dust universe. But I still think it had to be some sort of bug? Did my regeneration kick in just at the right second and I survived because of that?

I wasn't stuck at 0/0 like the guy in the photo. My armor started regening instanlty. I just didn't die at 0/0. |

I don't think it's a "bug" or the fact you have some sort of "health" after you run out of armor.
Most guns do decimal damage, so when you got less than 1.0 HP but more than 0.0 (death), the number gets rounded.
Simple, huh?  |

You do know we are carbon-based under that armor right? Not just robots? At 0 sh / 0 ar you are just out there swingin in the breeze bro! Enjoy it while you can |

This is probably the only game with shields, armor and then the wearer of both. It didn't even occur to me, that could be the case.
