Just a thread for all the good little things we never realy knew were being removed so what ever happened to:
The smoke the mass driver rounds gave off

1) The flat textures
2) Limited types of rifles
3) Dropships with no ability for the pilot to shoot
4) Rifles out ranging Lazers
5) A single suit type for each race
6) A time without minty chips
7) Having to start a new character with all the Proto tryhards.
8) Fat AR Iron sights
9) Not knowing what type of suit and gun killed you
10) waiting 5 minutes to get to you quarters on login |

How about those memory leaks?
Or freezes?
Or frame rate issues?
Or getting stuck on the loading screen?
Or not being able to walk over a rock?
Or mcc sniping?
There is a lot more bad with this game than good and that's why the average player base has fallen from about 7500 to 5000-6000, that's 1500 customers they've lost, you know the things that free to play games rely on? Yeah those things, they've lost a lot, and the more they lose the slower the progress on this game will be, who am I kidding? What progress? |

The lightning and kill sounds are the best things missing from the old builds for sure. I also think the old old manus peak map was actually really fun, especially for ambush. |

I remember we used to get points for injuring the mcc

The old turrets from skirmish 1.0, small turrets with forward armour, and the large turret with a set of wall around it for troops to hold up in it was like a mini bunker. Its also worth noting these turrets were absolute beast at anti infantry so became primary targets for alot of people, |

What happened to those nanofibre mods, I loved those things. They turned the sky into an ice rink for dropships, and they turned lav's (chromosome LAV physics) into aerial vehicles (I'm not joking I got 10+ seconds of air once in a saga with those things fitted, I could get the damn thing onto freaking rooftops with a booster) |

The first was very good for defense
The second one would have made a beautiful PC mode, and is dearly missed by Closed Beta players.
The third was probably CCP's crowning achievement in early DUST. From cliffs only accessible for Scout Suits to multiple flank routes in the canyons, it was an overall beautiful map. |
