I'm proposing moving one of the equipments slots on Logistics suits over to where the side arm slot is. The reasoning behind this is to make switching to your desired equipment item quicker and easier, as if you were changing weapon. Instead of fiddling around with that awkward analog control. |

I think they need to change how that equipment swapping thing works in general. I've been meaning to make some videos, but anytime you try to change equipment it's basically a crap-shoot. I can open the menu and flick the stick at something 3 or 4 times before it switches.
Having it be part of the "quickswap" would be quicker, but it only "fixes" it for one equip-piece. They need to rework how the switching works, period. |

How about changing up, down, lefft on the D-pad to customizable quickslots? The player list and map can be accessed from the start button. (and if a player really wants the player list or map on those buttons, the can set it so).
Alternatively, I don't think the left D-pad button does anything currently. That could be set to swap through equipment. |

Clearly has never used the push-to-talk feature....but that aside. I would like a D-pad based equipment slot switch. Really we only need three anyways. up down and right cover that.
The only problem comes from not being able to access the overhead map as easily (currently down on d-pad). I also use it occasionally to pinpoint squad orders and sight tanks/derpships.
Maybe a lock on feature in the radial menu would help. Similar to aim assist so that once you hit a slot it kinda sticks there. Might work out, thoughts? |

I forgot about the push-to-talk (and that is what I have my mic set as atm).
Then what we need is a start menu that is faster, has an integrated neocom menu, can order vehicles, and allows players to quickly access the map to set orders and orbitals. This would free up down, right and up on the D-pad to do other things (like the quickslots).
On the ordering vehicles, it might be a nice feature if you can tell the bolas to place your vehicle in a certain area. You could then place a get away vehicle should things go sour (with a risk of it being stolen/destroyed) or send a teammate a vehicle. |

Keybindings and scrollwheel for the KBM users.
For DS3, just change it from a directional thing, to a slider that moves up and down depending on the direction of stick deflection. So, instead of the current 2D crapshoot, we just have a 1D transition. |
