Sentinels, Logis, assaults and scouts, AKA the specialized suits, don't feel that different from the basic version AND the other suits. They have minor tweaks here and there, but overall they all feel the same. My suggestion is this - Increase all the advantages and disadvantages of all suits. Here is what I thought of:
Increase sentinel HP to 1250 but reduce speed to 2m/s walk speed and 4m/s sprint speed
Increase scout speed to 6.5m/s running speed and 9m/s sprinting speed I won't give them a disadvantage as they don't need it, scouts are underpowered
Assault gets 15% extra damage on every weapon, but lose the equipment slot
Logis get an extra equipment slot across the board, but reduced base HP and base speed
These are just my ideas, but even if you don't like them, this thread is about making specialized suits actually special |

Mind you, they only lose 1m/s on both walking speed and sprinting speed, and can easily compensate with a single speed mod. |

Heavy suits are balanced, the HMG is terrible, that is all. |

The Caldari logi is just the worst of the bunch. |

I disagree, the assault hitbox is slightly smaller and shields regen much faster, not to mention faster strafe vs slower strafe. these are enough advantages for good players to win fights against logis when rolling with an assault. Ehemm, the hitboxes are no longer different between assault and logi. |

The Amarr assault has more PG than the Amarr Logi, higher hp/shields, the same module slots, faster movement, and a weapon bonus. Explain to me how the Amarr Logi is beats it "in every way". Well, I wrote that comment late at night. This is the result. Gal Logi and Cal Logi beat their assault counterparts, I never studied closely the Min logi and Amarr logi. |
