It would be like refusing to drive on the track in Gran Tourismo and complaining about the gameplay.
You are really missing out. You probably roll militia gear 95% of the time and have over 200 million isk saved up for that rainy day too. I'm sorry, but I still play the same game as everyone else here, and my opinion matters just as much as yours. Just because I don't adhere to someone else's playstyle doesn't mean I'm incompetent. I roll Gunnlogi's in pubs that cost about 1.4m each in just about every round I play, so I risk more than those other "95%" you're speaking of. I have tried squading up. It isn't for me. I still find the game enjoyable. Is that wrong?
Pretty much this. To put it quite frankly, squads cause problems for me. Whenever I'm in a squad, I always feel obligated to go to this objective or that point or take out that tank or move up to this position where I would be very exposed to enemy redline railgun tanks.
When I'm on my own, whether or not it's more effective for my team, I have more time to do what I want, there is less pressure to risk my tank, and of course, I can just mute everyone if I desire to do so.
All this, combined with the fact that I'm not a very social kind of guy, leads to me being a solo tanker. Usually. There are people who I actually do squad with if they ask. |

I used to solo for a long time. Did good mostly. However, squad action is just so much better. The ability to work as a 6 member team improves gameplay immensely. And simply makes the game more fun to play. |

I enjoy squad play a lot, it just takes too much focus and involvement for what I can realistically do a lot of the times. ::shrugs::

I play solo simply because fighting unorganized rabble while in a squad is fun to me.
Maybe when FW or PC gets properly integrated I'll have a reason to commit to a corp. |

90% of the time, unless my bro is on, or random alliance squads. The only problems I have is when my entire team is squaded, and no other blues to share tac-net with. Seeing kills on the feed but no red dots on the map. That is how it works right? |

I honestly don't think OP should have posted this until he had run it by 5 or more people. And, he should only been allowed to provide the conjunctions, with his leader providing nouns and verbs. |

I run solo mostly - and it's not too much different for me compared to squads.
I really only run squads for the lolz on comms.
I actually do BETTER usually solo - the real pain is when you join a team of complete scrubs who get red lined instantly - 1 man isn't going to be able to bring that back... well I can't - not with my HMG range nerf Q.Q

I prefer playing lone wolf unless it's against a teamstack of competent players
pulled down my best post-uprising post-TAR nerf game at 58/2 with no squad support and OBs, when i only have to worry about taking care of myself and not covering my corpmates it's much easier. at least for me. |

I only run my militia fits when I'm trolling or inebriated. I use advanced fits about 80% of the time with prototype being about 12-15% of the time. I've been playing for over a year, with a wealth of squad based experience. When I'm just rolling around solo sometimes I'll draw in a bunch of randoms and "Squad lead". I haven't ran a squad where everyone is on comms doing their thing since before uprising, I used to do it a lot back then though. I don't want to be distracted and not on comms rolling with my corp, so I choose to go solo most of the time. As I said, various real life reasons keep me from being able to play that way right now. I have the experience, I'm pretty good at leading a squad and definitely at being a member of one. Oh, and I only sit at around 3 million ISK because I burned through over 100 million testing their stupid dropships in team based scenarios. Assume more bro.
This is exactly my story. I've been playing in squads and teams for so long so I know what I'm doing. I just like to go solo sometimes to not have to really focus in and fret about the game.
Or to test things.
But I run solo around 80-90% of the time. |

I proto-hunt whether in a squad or not in a squad I tend not to care much about winning, I care more about costing other people isk.
if I cause 10 million isk in damages through out the game I don't really care if I win or lose
the way I see it, they cost miltia gear users tons proto stomping they deserve to get head shot sniped 5 or 6 times in a match. |
