Seriously why does a light weapon does less damage then a sidearm weapon? The mass driver does less direct and splash damage compared to the flaylock pistol. Sure you can argue that the flaylock has only 3 shots in a clip but the damage output is the same like 6 mass driver rounds. Another thing that is out of line why is the splash damage from the flaylock so high? Lets look at comparable weapons with splash damage that have higher direct hit damage:
-Plasmacanon
-Forgegun
-mass driver
-Missile launchers on vehicles
all these weapons have significant less splash damage (compared to their direct impact damage) so why does the flaylock has allmost the same splash damage as it does direct impact damage? In my opinion the splash damage on flaylocks needs to be reduced to be in line with all the other weapons. Contact grenades are allready a issue in this game but why on earth do we have these things that can kill a heavy faster then anything else in the game (apart from RE)? Either move this thing to the light weapon category or lower the splash damage on them. |

Mass Driver needs to be rolled back to how it was in Chromosone, anyone who thought it was OP is an idiot, and probably never even tried the thing. |

The same with the laser rifle, except for the viziam.
The mass driver was a weapon perfectly balance in Chromosome, decent splash and direct damage. But, the weapon had something that was highly requires to use it, and it was the skill, you couldn't go attacking like a mad cow on everything, you needed to think accurately, and aim well too. |

Honestly,the only issue that I had with mass drivers was that I thought the rate of fire was a **** hair to fast.Damage,and range were fine,but just slow that thing down just a touch,not too much to where it's completely nerfed. |
