Amarr Commando Bonus: +2% to efficacy of shield and armor modules per level.
Lets just turn that into
Amarr Assault Bonus: +2% to efficacy of shield and armor modules per level.
Because TBH no one cares for that reduced heat build up. We want dat hybrid ehp tanking balance. 
Hell that should be the general Amarr bonus, for just being Amarr. Our gods demand balance.

Might be better as the general assault bonus than the shield-recharge bonus, as opposed to an Amarr-specific thing. |

I'd just like to point out that while the Amarr do in fact start with the highest base HP, their gimped slot layouts means their potential EHP is the lowest out of the Gallente And Caldari, have not done the math for Minmatar, but it's probably the same case. |

I think all races should get a LOL RACE BONUS.
So Amarr Gets +2% to efficacy of shield and armor modules per level.
Caldari +5% efficacy to shield Modules per level
Galante +5% efficacy to armor Modules per level
And Minmatar get -5% efficacy to everything per level because they are heretic scum of new eden. |

Doesn't the the std commando have no highs or lows. I know that the proto only has three moduel slots total. This bonus doesn't make sence to me. Where did this info come from? Would make more sence if it was something like 1% light weapon damage or 3% ammo compactly or something. This sounds stupid. |

Ehh... the problem with giving it to assaults is similar to the problem with Commandos having it. Amarr are screwed for slots. So any passive that's based on modules is sort of gimped by default.
If the Caldari Logi only had three high slots, no one would give a frack about their Shield Passive. It becomes "good" because they have 5 slots to stack things up there (well, it's also a higher percentage).
Both the Amarr Assault and Logi top out at 6 slots. Even going all in with complex shield extenders, you're only getting another 20 shield hp out the proposed commando passive. That's forgoing any damage mods as well. Any of the armor mods have the usual drawbacks. The existing logi bonus (for armor reppers) is of limited use and looks pathetic next to Gall-logi capabilities for similar reasons.
Mind you, they could get more use than the Commando will with it's joke-like slot allotment. But it wouldn't be great. |
