This is just another flavor of if you don't give me what I want I'm going to hold my breath until I turn blue.
Don't worry, they'll start to breathe again if they manage to hold their breath long enough to lose consciousness anyway. |

However. CCP will listen to the servers telling them the player count is LOWER.
I'm not sure what some folks thinks it means when they imagine CCP "listening" to us.
How many different voices and opinions do you think CCP has access to? Do you not imagine they have their own vision for the game too? Perhaps the types of things they look to us for are not the things that we are most apt to complain about?
The issue probably is not that CCP won't "listen" it is that they are a relatively large and distributed organization that cannot immediate jump on every idea and concept the moment it shows up in a forum. The fact they (reportedly) rearranged their priorities to put core gameplay issues on the front burner is definitely an act of listening.
There are lots of things that need improving. The way to get that to happen is probably not to gripe at everyone who is able to have fun in spite of the current issues. Most people who are able to have fun playing the game are not suggesting everything is okay and they are not ruining the game. They are simply willing to point out the issues constructively, from time to time, and then wait to see what happens.
Play, don't play, point out issues, don't, it's not such a big deal. This is a game. Relax. |

The current firm who owns and direct CCP have no experience with games companies or the entertainment industries connected therein.
A games company should be led by entities who understand games, to state the obvious.
A fish rots from the head down, as they say in Iceland.

I know... talk about a misinformed dip****.
CCP is doing it's own thing... it is forging a path in a different direction than the mass gaming industry... and love it or hate it it's something you can respect. |

You think private equity firms are generally actively managing the companies they invest in? Really? |
