at fanfest ccp jian said snow could be deployed ingame at anytime
and in the 1.2 patchnotes it says 2 more terraforming options and new material for ladders and SNOW.

oh. great. snow. that's exactly what dust was missing. ******* snow. great. just ******* great. not the imbalance between AV and tanks, the lack of variety in weapons, the much needed buffs to the mass driver and laser rifle, the caldari logi being the only suit to use, the pistols that out perform turrets, the god-awful matchmaking system, and most important of all: connection issues. |

Dust 514 doesn't have matchmaking (Unless you mean making sure you have a solid connection to the match)
Also I doubt snow took them a long time to make. Hell they probably had snow almost finished a few months ago. They could be using upgraded scripts from UE engine which would make it even easier to implement for all we know. |

I suggest going out in the sun. (Seriously i'm not trolling. The less sunlight you eyes get the harder it is for your eyes to adjust to light properly) |

I doubt it will. It's not much different then what they did with the titan crash particle effects. It'll just be white instead. |

I more interested in Skyboxes that reflect the planet we are fighting on, or at least have a night sky to show off some of the very, very sexy nebulae and the plethora of stars above.
I mean, fighting on a frigid snowy wasteland, above a sky chocked with stars, living a life of a thousand deaths.
That's the cool way to fight. |

Gameplay > Eye candy.
It'd be good to have it some day but it will just be more stuff to load which would make the game even more buggy.
Let them optimize this game before we get our eye candy. |

It would be nice to see that water exists somewhere in new Eden....though i would prefer just plain water.
With snow some jerk might just say it is frozen methane or CO2.....and then CCP would build a bridge to nowhere over it. |
