Funny, but if CCP did this, they'd just have people yelling about P2W.

I think requiring a toon who posts in here to have actually PLAYED the game might do wonders for cutting down on the spam ... or at least should let CCP track it back to its source (if they were inclined to).

It only takes 10k WP to get out of Academy (Anyone can get to that in 2-3 days max which if you haven't played for that long then yes you shouldn't be posting on the forums unless your asking for help)

Its funny how you still think that isnt a moronic idea.
Maybe because the game is completely vague to new players and most have to remake their characters from not knowing what to do in the first place.

This is why we need player trading. The feature would quickly become pay to win without.

Honestly, I'm of the opinion that if you've played at all, you should have WRITE access to the whole forum (you should have READ access just for having the account).

The only other idea I heard that I'd consider is that Only people in the Academy can post in the Academy sub-forum, and that is the only place they can post till they are out of the Academy (well, them and GMs, and ISD members shepherding the new batch of blueberries).

Yea have an instant battle academy forum. I think that'll help a lot. I think people out of academy should be able to post the too though so they can answer any questions the noobies have.

Umm ... we already have it ... its called Rookie Training Grounds.

If you're going to "protect us" from the rookies, then you have to "protect them" from us also.
The ISDs should be there answering questions along with other rookies. If you really want to help players out, go make a new toon and post there with it.
