Funny, but if CCP did this, they'd just have people yelling about P2W.
I think requiring a toon who posts in here to have actually PLAYED the game might do wonders for cutting down on the spam ... or at least should let CCP track it back to its source (if they were inclined to). |

Honestly, I'm of the opinion that if you've played at all, you should have WRITE access to the whole forum (you should have READ access just for having the account).
The only other idea I heard that I'd consider is that Only people in the Academy can post in the Academy sub-forum, and that is the only place they can post till they are out of the Academy (well, them and GMs, and ISD members shepherding the new batch of blueberries). |

Umm ... we already have it ... its called Rookie Training Grounds.
If you're going to "protect us" from the rookies, then you have to "protect them" from us also.
(If they can't post anywhere but there, then no one out of the Academy should be able to post there)
The ISDs should be there answering questions along with other rookies. If you really want to help players out, go make a new toon and post there with it. |
