LMFAO!
Oh noes... I might not max out my SP... what a tragic game flaw. Ahahahahaha! |

I forget, in EVE, when was the last time someone missed their cap and lost that SP for forever?
Every time your skill queue... which has a limit of 24 hours (but allows longer skills in as long as they are starting within the 24 hour limit)... runs dry. |

I just don't think we need to make sure everyone can always get their cap by storing it up like unused vacation days (some of you may not understand this reference).
Of course, I know all you professional (or should I say "competitive") FPS folks can't imagine not getting every point possible even if that means AFKing while you do laundry, but I'd propose that for the majority of society that is not the path to finding the game fun.
Hey, whatever floats your boat. Make a good argument and maybe you'll get it. However, at this point, I think we have a lot of fish to fry and my priority would be elsewhere. |

That takes what, 15 seconds (and $15 or however many million ISK a PLEX is)
CCP has already expressed an interest in the rollover cap, but it's likely going to take them at least another 6 months to get that in place.
Well, unless you live in your moms basement still, you'll find that many people who have lives are often able to overlook stuffing crap in their skill queue for days at a time. Oh noes!!!
Besides, getting off the PS3 to run EVE gets in the way of playing Dust. And, loading the latest Eve launcher update takes more than 15 seconds... besides, it takes hours of spreadsheet work to figure out what the hell to skill into in the first place... |

Back when I played EVE, I would never miss my queue because it was easy enough for me to just hop on and make sure that my queue was always at least a couple days out.
Unlike in DUST, you can have a pretty terribad "build" and still have tons of things to do and enjoy. In DUST, you get ******* stomped. That's is what happens in DUST, stomp or be stomped. Nothing else :/
Yeah, I didn't intend to aim that directly at you personally... but of course it's relatively easy to keep your queue active if you want to do so. |
