Maybe if they added a tissue dispenser to LAVs...would that help spkr? Honestly tears from a noob tube on wheels user strikes me as rather ridiculous. |

So how about you get 3 disconnects while in PC using your top PRO suit? Because that's about how many it would take you to match up to the cost of my Charybdis. |

I care not about you losing your noob tube on wheels. Was that not evident from my last post? |

I really think you should seriously reconsider engineering. For all we know, the shields could be one micron thick, and the generator for it no larger than a glasses case. As such, that would weigh what, maybe 3lbs? Armor obviously more. You're just not getting it.
Ok fine your original post was about the charybdis which is a shield vehicle with 884 base armor so depending on how you fit it probably over 1000. A prototype sentinel with level 5 core armor skill and 4 complex armor plates will have 1012 armor. based on your argument about mass and shield mass being irrelevant, that LAV moving at high speed would still defiantly kill that prototype heavy but your charybdis would be dealt a serious blow to its armor.
Also if shields don't effect collisions explain why when I fall and take damage the first bit of HP I lose is shield? Same with your LAV, take a collision into a wall what do you lose armor or shield?

Ok fine lets use just Video game reailty
This is the EVE universe and Eve pilots have to buy their ammo which means there is no reason that vehicles on dust should have infinite ammo. As an infantry player I would love infinite ammo but I have to carry around nanohives, so vehicles should have some similar mechanic. And don't give me any of that BS that maybe tanks have some built in nanohive, because why can't I just duct tape a complex nanohive to my back and have a steady stream of AV grenades to toss at a HAV just like the steady stream of missiles they can fire? Yes I know there is a fire rate just like there is a fire rate of throwing grenades but honestly I couldn't I just throw 3 AV grenades at once? |

Very true so in a future build hopefully those will be implemented, but it doesn't change the fact that your point was about saying this game is thousands of years in the future. My suit should be able to tell me that a live grenade is behind me, I should be able to active 3 grenades and throw them at once, and collisions involving a vehicle colliding into a heavily armored heavy with armor made of the same or similar materials will inflict damage both ways. Of course the LAV will take less damage because it has more mass and velocity but it will still take damage and thats my point. |

Why dont you just say 'i should be able to fly' and ask for other dumb things because video game reality
You cant activate 3 nades at one because 'balance'
Your dropsuit doesnt have enough sensors
Dropsuits have been upgraded so you have shield etc but so has that LAV so you still a bag of meat next to that hunk of metal or whatever its made out of |

We lost millions in tanks, weapons and suits. We learnt to HTFU and work around it. Wat would you like to have next? Rail Turrets from MCC that can kill anything without taking any damage? Would you prefer that in pink ? When have I asked for anything easy mode? Are you still mad I killed you with my militia AR while you were in your PRO assault suit? Why aren't you tanking to "show me how it's done?"
LOL it's adorable... Keep on dreaming. All you do is btch and moan... Who said i'm not tanking? |
