Wouldn't CCP want to give us respecs because it's beta? If you give us respecs we can test new weapons and put feedback on them!!!
Since my other thread was deleted because GM vegas said it was a duplicated thread, here this is. And the other thread was for shield tanks, this is for everything, get good CCP. |

Or, you could play their game and gain the SP necessary to try a new weapon. The need for respecs is gone outside of may heavies and scouts when the rest of the suits are introduced. If you want to try a new weapon, save the SP for it. |

NOPE! If you are asking a respec every time a new weapon is announce then you are being spoiled, wanting everything to be given to you. I bet if CCP does give a respec and the weapon sucks, everyone will start to ask for another respec to go back to their old weapon. I am against any respec if every time a new weapon is getting added to the game. I can support a SP event. |

Vethosis, I can sympathize with you for going into shield tanking, but at the same time, the class is not horrible, nor is it unworkable.
Just because it is out of balance right now versus armor tanks in a fight, does not mean that it will always be that way. Before Uprising, it was shield tanks that had the upper hand. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
It will swing back, you can bet on that.
And when it does I won't be asking for a respec, although that is because by then I should have enough SP to build up a good Gunloggi to go with my fully specced out Madrugar.
Now, if the enforcers were not such trash, maybe I would be SP poor, but thankfully they are not worth speccing into, so I get off relatively easily.
The best advice I can give you, is to roll with an armor tanker full time. I know you can find one in the Tanks R Us channel. Then just play the backup. Whenever your armor buddy gets chased by swarmers, you step in and feed them blasters/missiles.

not necessarily constant (maybe once a month or two) but if it beta that means testing yes?
the more you allow people to test the more feedback you get |

And if they just didn't nerf the tac AR,didn't release uprising or put the beta tag back in (whatever really) then it would at least have kept (most of) the threads related to it out of the forums aswell.
People spamming the forums with the same demand over and over again does not suddenly become a good thing to do just because you happen to agree with this particular demand. If CCP made changes based on just how many QQ threads they could prevent without caring if they are actually justified we would be playing a bad AR based twitch shooter with teabagging emotes by now. |
