As of the last respec, I became an Assault after being primarily a Heavy for a long time. Why? Because they released racial variants of the Assault suits. I'm going full Minmatar, and the only thing close to what I wanted was the Minmatar Assault. So I ran with that. I don't know much about the new update [as soon as I got new games, I find I've been playing DUST less and less], but if it's bringing in new content, like new weapons or new suits, then there better be a respec. Because I'm not an Assault by choice. I refuse to invest in Amarr gear on principle, because I'm into my character, because I want to enjoy this game. As soon as the Minmatar Heavy goes live, if I don't already get a respec, you can expect me here on the forums demanding one, because that's all I've wanted from the beginning: my preferred racial variant of the Heavy suit.
Honestly, if CCP didn't want to hear a bunch of people complaining for respecs or refits, then they should have finished the game before releasing it.
Just save SP for Minmatar Heavy. If they release it 1.3 (don't quote me there, just using an example), you' have like 1milSP to put into it on PASSIVE SP alone. Thus, no need to Respec. If you do this, you'll have Minmatar Heavy/Sentinel AND a good Minmatar Assault build for when you need a change of pace. Side note: You shouldn't ever feel like you should HAVE to go Amarr, kitten the kitten outta those Mother-kittens. That is all. Eriknaught out. END TRANSMISSION. |

I'm not concerned with "replay value" in Dust. I am however concerned that a noob screwing up some skills, which we all know will happen, decides to quit instead of spending three months to recover from stupid click.

I've saying that there should be a "are you sure?", "are you REALLY sure?", "Ok, this is your last warning and here's a complete run-down of everything this skill will affect. ARE YOU SURE?" feature. Would it be moderately annoying? Kitten yes it would, but it would help fix the problem. Also a certain period of time to "test" the skill would be sweet, don't like it? Take the points back. That is all. Eriknaught out. END TRANSMISSION. |
